Voting Information

Primary Election Results:

The results of the primary election are in. As you can see, I am in the top six, which means that I will be advancing to the general election. I am very grateful for all those who voted for me, and who have confidence that I will be able to continue to take Orem in the right direction when I’m re-elected.

My plan is to continue to get my message out to the voters of Orem. I am confident that, if the voters can hear my message, they will be able to make the right choice.

It is going to take hard work for me to move from fourth place into first, but that’s ok with me because I like hard work!

Thanks again for all of your support, and we will see you in the general election!

General Election: October 21st - November 4th

Ballots for the General Election will be mailed to all registered voters starting on October 21st.

Did you receive your ballot for the Primary Election in the mail?

If you received your ballot for the primary election in the mail, then you will also receive your ballot for the general election in the mail, sometime on or after October 21st.

If you did not receive your ballot for the primary election in the mail, that means something is wrong. Either you are not registered, or have the wrong address, or some other problem. Please go online at https://vote.utah.gov/ and get yourself registered so you can vote in the general election.

Once your ballot has arrived for the general election, you can fill out your ballot and return it by mail or place it in a ballot drop box. I strongly recommend that you put your ballot in one of the ballot drop boxes. There were many of the primary ballots that were mailed which were not received by the voting deadline, and therefore were not counted. Please let your ballot be counted by placing it in one of the ballot drop boxes.

By Mail:

There is a new law this election cycle that requires mailed ballots to reach the election center on or before election day. The previous law only required that mailed ballots be postmarked on election day. Please be sure to mail your ballot early enough so it will arrive at the election center before election day, which is November 4th. We recommend mailing it no later than August 6th.

Ballot Drop Box:

Rather than mailing your ballot, you can simply drop it off at one of the official ballot drop boxes.
There are two ballot drop boxes in Orem; one at the Orem City Center and one at the Orem Senior Friendship Center.

You can use this link to track your ballot:  https://votesearch.utah.gov/voter-search/search/search-by-voter/track-mail-ballot
Or, you can call the Utah County Elections Department at (801) 851-8128.
Or, you can go to the Utah County website:  https://vote.utahcounty.gov/home

If you have not received your ballot in the mail, or have not yet registered to vote, it is not too late.
You can still register to vote at an Early Voting Location or an Election Day Voting Location.

To find an Early Voting Location, or an Election Day Voting Location, do the following:
